Fridays are release days for Truman Studio so before I release this weeks kit wanted to tell you a little bit about it and give you a chance to win it!
One of the reasons why I create my pages is to preserve our history for my children. I also want to give them a picture of my families past…before they were ever alive so that they will know where they came from.
This weeks release is part of a series that I am going to be doing over the year. There will be 4 in total and they will all be part of my Legacy series. Each kit will be in honor of one of my grandparents who have left incredible impressions on my life. 
This week is Legacy Vol. 1: Marion. She was my mothers mother. She was my first grade teacher. She was an incredible woman that at 97 years of age was such an inspiration and encouragement to others.  A week before her death I was able to visit her. I was pregnant with our last daughter and we shared that her middle name would be Marion in her honor.
This layout is of my grandmother and her brother as kids and talks about a Legacy she passed down to  me personally.

Capture • Preserve • Enjoy…what does that mean

When I decided on my name, I really wanted a phrase that captured what I wanted to present to you.  I don’t want to merely show off the kits I make (although I will be sharing that) I wanted to provide digi-scrappers with more.  That is how I came up with my tagline…and here is what it means!

  • {Capture} My husband and I LOVE photography! One of the reasons I scrap is to show off the pictures we have taken to preserve a memory. I hope to provide links and resources to help you take your photography to the next level. I will also show ways to capture moments in unique ways and remind you to photograph the things that make you…YOU!

  • {Preserve} After we take fabulous photos, we want to preserve them. This is the joy of digi-scrapping. You can take a picture and journal about your thoughts, feelings or even just the facts about the event.  I will be highlighting my kits as well as others that I find that I think are just fantastic finds. I will share journaling ideas and anything else I find in digiland that will help you make your layouts fantastic!

  • {Enjoy} A layout is no good if you never look at it again. I will share ways to share them and will also highlight great layouts I find for you to enjoy and gain inspiration from. I will also give you ideas of what to do with them, places to print them,  and help you use those digi kits again with hybrid products I find.

So that is what my tagline means…now you know :)
