sneak peek
I have been working on my Project Life this last week. I am actually doing the paper version…meaning I have to actually PRINT photos. I was kind of bored with how they were looking so I created some fun clipped masks that I could use to make them a tad more fun.
I started thinking though that these would be great not just for Digi and Paper Project Lifers but to put on any layout you have. So I created two sets with words cut out that are the same themes as my last two new releases, Friends for Life and All About Me: Boy Edition. Since there are two releases…there can be two winners!! Leave a comment below, have you ever tackled a P52 or P365? Would you ever consider it? Let me know for your chance to win!!
I have a fun giveaway today! Not one but two kits!! I had the chance to create a matching kit with my fabulous friend Meredith of Meredith Cardall Designs.
This weeks kits are called Friends for Life! It celebrates the special bond that friends have for a lifetime. I spent hours in the car recently on our roadtrip to NY and was able to create lots of goodies for this kit! So much in fact that I have a full kit (with a bonus alpha), mini kit and an add-on alpha!! Check out the sneak peaks! First the Full Kit and then is the mini!

- The Friends for Life Full Kit
Two winners will be announced this Friday at the reveal. One will win the full kit and the other the mini kit! So leave a comment and tell me who your friend for life is! Also, make sure to sign up for my newsletter as there will be a coupon for newsletter only subscribers that will give you an extra 10% off the sale price!
You can also run over to Meredith’s blog and try to win her portion. Check it out here:
Also, thanks for the comfort on the recent loss of my grandfather. I realize I never did post the winner of the Holly Jolly kit so thought I would take this time to announce it!
Congratulations to Kel H! I will be emailing you your code later today!
This year I have been struggling to get into the Christmas spirit. Let me start off by saying I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!! My hubby even bought me a 12 foot tree for our new house. However, we moved this year and Texas just doesn’t feel wintery like where I grew up in the North-East. Today it is 67 degrees out. On top of that, we won’t be with family this year and my younger sister is giving birth in PA to a beautiful (I am sure) baby on the 23rd. I haven’t even seen her pregnant. On top of this my grandfather is dying of cancer. I don’t tell you this to feel sorry for me, but to let you in on something.
We pick our attitudes. I have been trying to make this kit and finally gave up. My CT really encouraged me and 24 hours later I am looking at one of my favorite kits. My CT aren’t just artists for me, they become my friends as well. So as I was working on it the spirit came back. The Christmas cheer slowly came over me. So tonight I will wrap the presents for my kids that I have so far (EEKS!) and finish addressing my Christmas Cards!
In the spirit of giving…I would like to give Holly Jolly away to one lucky reader. But just like in infomercials…but wait…theres more!! I don’t know if you have many other digi-friends you have met in digi-land but this time I would love to give a kit ALSO to a friend of yours who maybe has cheered you up this year too. So in this post leave a note with the name of a digi-friend and how they have cheered you on or up! When I contact the winner they can let me know how to get their friend the kit too! Also, you can get your friend to comment to and then you would have two chances
. The winner will be announced on Friday in the New Release Post!

Merry (almost) Christmas!
About a month ago my daughter and I went on a date. We ended up at a cupcake truck in Ft Worth, TX. The cupcakes were superb and the two ladies were awesome. I loved the retro look that the Red Jett Sweets truck had and after taking pictures of the two of us there was totally inspired to make this kit. It will be releasing this Friday and I am excited to share this little sneak peak with you!
Would you like to win it? Just leave a comment about what your favorite sweet item is (I have a thing for red licorice) A winner will be announced in Fridays post!
Tommorrow I will be releasing my new kit thank{FALL}. Makes me reflect on things I am thankful for like being able to stay at home with my kids and homeschool them, the weather today, and that we are getting our new bedroom and dining room set delivered today!

How are all y’all doing? It is hot here in Texas. During the first few weeks we were in Texas all we did was unpack and settle. One morning I decided to pack up the kids and head to Ft Worth to see the cattle drive at the Fort Worth Stockyards. The girls enjoyed it very much. That night, I was putting needing an idea for my Design Factor mini. Howdy Partner came together very quickly that night! This kit has been filled out a lot from the original mini.
Here is the sneak peak as well as a layout I made with it from our time up at the Stockyards. Come back tomorrow to see the full kit and some CT layouts.
