{Win It} Key to My Heart

11 and a half years ago, a handsome man got on bended knee in Olive Garden and asked me to be his wife! I didn’t hesitate…it was an immediate yes!

The way he proposed though still can give me the shakes. As we were sitting there, little porcelain boxes started being brought by the wait staff. In each box was a gold plated key. First was a key to his mailbox and then the key to his car. Next came the key to his apartment and finally an old antique key…which he stated was the key to his heart!

As I was looking at those boxes in our bedroom the other day, this kit just came to me! It is a beautiful shabby kit that is so much fun to play with. My ct have made some amazing layouts.

So tell me who  holds the key to your heart. Do you have a little newborn that has you wrapped around her finger? A husband of  1 day or of 60 years? You have until Friday at noon to let me know.

Oh my gosh, what a sweet, romantic story with the keys !

For me, it’s definitely my husband that holds the key to my heart. Being in his arms, it is as if the world fades, all troubles are gone.
We are celebrating our 12,5 year anniversary this year and it feels if we only got married last year.

What a great proposal story. Love how he did the boxes with all the keys – sounds like a keeper!
As far as the key to my heart I would say my 2 boys and hubby but since they pretty much seem to lose everything I just keep it unlocked!!

My fiance does. I met him in seventh grade, and even after 15 years, I still have a crush on him!

My husband, Aaron holds the key to my heart and even though we’re just celebrating ten years of wedded bliss this month, he’s held that key for a lot longer. I was smitten with him at a very early age, but being three years older than me and being my big brother’s best pal didn’t work in my favor to gain his attention. I waited through elementary school and then high school and beyond before he knew I was even alive. Finally, in my mid twenties I got that break I’d been hoping for all those years. We dated for less than a year and then we got married. Since then, our hearts have grown with the addition of our four beautiful daughters. I love him more every day and I thank the lord that he’s finally mine. He is well worth the wait! <3
